Death Note
I know there's no way a silly note like this can make me famous or bring all the four corners of the World in agreement, but I don't really care. My name is Nicole Marinas, I am 16 years old and I am dying tomorrow... But before I die, I would like to say thanks to everyone I know and love.
Mum and Dad, you should know that I love you both so much. Everyday, I pray that God will keep you safe in His loving arms so I wouldn't have to face the pain brought by the death of two wonderful people. I know that we were never wealthy but thanks to your perseverance and strong faith in God, our family manages to remain blessed.
Mum, thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for flying to the other side of the world just to buy my clothes and earn money for my school fee (I'm so glad I'm leaving Woodrose). Dad, thanks for putting up with my "bratty" attitude. Thanks for flying to Manila from Hong Kong every other day just to make sure things are okay... Well, that's my job now. I'll be checking on you!
Matt! You are the best brother a girl can ask for. I know that I haven't been a supportive sister and I know that I haven't defended you when you needed me. I just want you to know that you have so many people here who love you and are willing to help you in every way. Love you, kid!
To all my friends in Woodrose: You are the reason why I survived this jungle. You guys have helped me cope up with the new environment and catch up to the Modern Filipino Culture. I loved our movie-nights, especially when we watched "Cellular" (Btw, Chris Evans, you're hot!), "Spiderman 2" and the movie with the freaky-ass cloned kid... I will miss those hot summer days we spent in ATC's designer's boulevard with no money in our pockets (funny!) I will also miss our young and stupid conversations on boys, Sean Connery, Woodrose, calories, batch2007 and etc.
To all my Hong Kong Friends (including those who also left): You guys are the reason why I will never forget my childhood. I had the best time in Hong Kong and, thanks to you guys, I never felt like an alien who was lost in translation. I'll miss you guys! Dea, thanks for being my buddy, my bestfriend and my sister.
Sean Connery: I love you, old man! But why haven't you written back?! Anyway, I'm dying so just reply to Magoo Rustia and send her an autographed photo of yourself... I don't have her address on me... Look her up!
